Tower 42

Block 42, New Belgrade

This conceptual student project is set in Block 42 of New Belgrade. It explores the constructivist notion that design should be valued by society not necessarily through direct use, but through the broader, indirect benefits it provides. In this sense, architecture becomes a form of social contribution, serving the public not through consumption but through its cultural, spatial and symbolic presence. The modernist planning and urban geometry of the site further inspired the architectural language of the project, as did the exploration of various structural systems.
